TYING A CLASSIC STYLE
Instructions how to tie a headscarf in a classic style!
Start by putting your hair in a bun, pony or simply putting on a hidden height undercover.
Step 1 Fold a square headscarf into a triangle shape.
Step 2 Place the center of the long straight side (the folded edge) at your forehead with the two long tails in front of your shoulder. Tie the two side tails behind your neck, keeping the 3rd hanging corner free.
Step 3 Take the right tail that is hanging down and wrap it around the top of your head till you reach the knot at the back. Tuck the extra fabric under the knot in back.
Step 4 Repeat with the left tail, going around the top of your head and tucking the headscarf's extra fabric under the knot in back.
Step 5 A great "twist" on this style is to complete steps 1-3, and then instead of repeating with the left tail, weave it over and under the first "band" you created. This adds height to the classic style and is especially suited for women with thinning hair or hair loss as it adds height to the head.
